The headphones use a process called active noise cancellation. They collect unwanted noise in the world around you and produce an opposite sound. This results in the cancellation of the sounds, both among themselves and end up hearing nothing. Since the frequency of noise increases, the effectiveness of noise cancellation decreases. However, you will find that most headsets use active noise cancellation system and the noise cancellation system liabilities as pads and ear cups that end up giving a fairly effective noise controlling audio listening device.

The Sennheiser PXC 300 is small and easy to carry, with strong noise cancellation system that allows you to hear the bass and treble very clearly. It is also easy to carry the cans in a bag or a coat pocket due to the clamshell design.
If you want a good pair of cans have a little less powerful unit noise cancellation, you can also opt for a Sennheiser PXC 250. This has all the features of the PXC 300 but is slightly cheaper. It is definitely a bargain for the price. Others are the Sennheiser MX-75, Ultimate Ears, Shure and others.

If using ur desktop, u can see a red port behind the CPU cabinet. U have to connect the headphone jack red on that port. I think this configuration is sufficient to receive calls. There are several ways to specify the headphones, but when most talk about the different types, usually means that other ways of using the phones.
Here I debate all the different types available and weigh their advantages and disadvantages.
