This is hands down the best headset I have owned.
I have had Plantronics before, and tried some Senheisers, and these completely blow them out of the water. I can compare them to mid range studio quality headphones (and thats a very good thing).
They have amazing sound quality, very very comfortable, nice mic.
Being able to switch from 2.0 to 7.1 on the fly helps cause some apps (skype) do not support 7.1 (surround sound calls? lol)
The only "problem" is that you HAVE to get the firmware update, if not, you will run into problems, but once that is done, you're set! |

First off this thing is amazing. Just the packaging it comes in is coo. As soon as I opened it I had my laptop on plugged it in and put it on. It worked without having to configure anything. So easy to use, the best sound quality ever, insane comfort, everything about this headset is almost to good to be true. Although my favorite thing about it is the braided wire. The wire does not get all messed up like a tradition wire and you dont get that anoying problem where you have to be constantly finding that sweet spot in the wire to make the sound work (some people should know what i am talking about). This is definently worth it.
Was using windows 7 and works like a charm. |

I bought these while looking at logitech and other brands around the same price. I can honestly say that these are the best headphones I have ever had. After spending over 100 dollers on headphones that have broken, these are top quality and the sound is perfect and all my games run in 7.1 surround sound.
It arrived and upon opening it, just the quality of the stuff makes you think your opening a very expencive piece of equipment. Its great quality and I would recommend this headset to anyone. |
kick ass sound quality and comfertable!

| This headset is really great for everything from skype to the 7.1 surround sound in starcraft 2! They come with their own external sound card that is really quit useful. with it you can change the sound from 7.1 to 2.0, you can even use it to see what speakers are currently being emulated by the headset. Also, if you ever screw up the sound or mic for some reason you can hold the razer logo button and re-set the device. all and all really good quality headset that comes with a really nice case, comfortable earphones with kick ass sound quality, and a great noise canceling mic. |
nicest headphone I ever have.

| Okay, I got this headphone today, and I have explore it through many different songs to test it's quality. I must said that the 7.1 digital surround sound is one of a kind. I then moved on to test it's capability of noise cancellation by having the TV on and see if it can really get through to me. It turns out that it passed it's test. I have not test the mic quality yet as I will go and play some online games such as counterstrike and left for dead later on. The comfort level on this headphone is great, I can wear it for hours and not worry about it sitting to heavy on my head or hurting my ears. Everything so far is 5 out of 5 stars with the only exception that it will not work with PS3 which was really a bummer, and I don't think you can plug in into the USB port of your TV either as I think this headphone is strictly made for gaming and music off your PC. If anyone know anything about how it can be set to work on a TV please let me know... |
